Sunday Supper 29Nov09: Thanksgiving!
I'm showing off the super delicious dinner I had last Monday for 'Thanksgiving'
From top to bottom, Croissant, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Asparagus with bacon and hollandaise sauce, and Tritip with Gravy.
It was so good only one plate of leftovers was left. It did not make it past breakfast the next day!

Pizza Kabobs Ver. 01
I brought these together super fast (cause i woke up late) and Boy do they taste delicious!

The cream cheese stuffed olives is seasoned with some alpine touch. I use this A LOT. Sliced up some babybel and 7 pepperoni i had left and KaBlim! Tasty starters.
Friday Sweets 041209:

Wednesday Vegetarian 021109
Fried rice cooked with green onions, green beans, and sweet peas! Served with rosemary/garlic bread

Cooked with butter, soy sauce, alpine touch, ginger, and sesame oil.
(despite the peas) It was quite good. Simple dish whipped up on very little ingredients.
I'll even admit to spreading a lil cream cheese on the bread slices. But that's all!
Creamy rice and mushroom soup with bacon.

I nibbles 1/2 the bacon down while i cooked the soup. OOpsie!
Tuesday Soup 011209:Potato/bacon/cheese
This is a potato/bacon/cheese soup!

Oh No! A rosemary bagel roll has 'accidently' fallen into the soup! Whatever shall we do?

NOMNOM!! It was like a potatoy bacony biscuits and gravy.
Turkey&Pepperoni Pizza with Colbyjack on Homemade Rosemary&Garlic infused dough!
The rosemary was soooo good in it. I blended dried rosemary and minced garlic into the water I used for the dough. You smell it as you take a bite and it's the first flavor you get. Mmmm, very tasty and made my house smell super delicious! I made a couple of smaller crusts and "bagels" to use later this week sometime. I Love Pizza!
CuppaCakies!!
Sometimes you just need Cake!
I'm posting all the photos here and You'll just have to be patient if you have a slow connection.

THIS IS A NORMAL GLASS OF MILK!!

Cooked the cherry tomatoes in the oven until the skin burst off.
Put the spinach in the micro for 1min20 sec.
Chopped a large green onion up like:green tops chopped short ways until I got to the pale green, then cut in 1/8 strips and separated.
Put the spinach down, drizzled basil vinaigrette over it, put down chopped green onions stems, slivered raw onion, skinless tomatoes, 3 finely crumbled oyster crackers, and a pinch of salt on the tomatoes.
Shredded some Colby Jack cheese and put it on a pan under the broiler until edges crisped up. Made sure to lift the edges before it cooled slightly so i could remove it from the pan later. Pushed the edges into a heart shape and as soon as the center was solid enough to lift, places it over the arranged salad and sprinkled with a few more green onion stems chopped fine.
I like my salad this way, but next time will toss the vinaigrette with the dressing. Got a couple of strong bites.
Greens are people too!

Oh, so, I went a bit 'sweets' crazy. I made 5 different kinds of chocolates and still managed not to make the rainbow cake truffles that was my intention. But i think these will help delay the candy hounds a bit longer.
Here is a Peppermint bark shell with a marshmallow inside. Peppermint bark is white chocolate and crushed up candy peppermint sticks.
I've hidden more peppermint bark inside a milk chocolate shell. Sneaky me!
Chocolate shell, fondant dot, marshmallow insides. Wish I had had some graham cracker to top this with.
Chocolate squares sprinkled with bacon pieces. Oh yummy. Bacon makes everything...more bacony!
Peppermint bark top and milk chocolate bottom with a dried blueberry inbetween. The surprise flavor hit of the batch, each layer manages to hold its own and the mint flavor goes wonderfully with the blueberry.
Another Chocolate shot!
I also made some cinn-sugar apples to go over ice cream after the dinner of avocado&p.f.r. which everyone decided was amazing and delicious.
Will be making the R.T. later so save room for those.
"oh god...so much sugar... I can feel my diabetes coming"

Sliced avocado pan fried with popcorn salt on one side. served on rice, chopped polish sausage, the meat bits of bacon, and green onions. The creaminess of the avocado goes really well with the rice and pork. Super tasty!

WOOT!
Ok Food time! I made this today with beef ramen, chopped spinach, mushrooms, green onion, spinach infused bacon fat(to cook onions and mushrooms in), milk, and sour cream. It was for a sick beau who needed something warm and delicious to help him feel better.
The orange will be sugared and put over vanilla icecream later tonight.
And from the top, oh, yes, you know how I like my noodles! *licks screen* OH..*clears throat*.. I mean, I've been working on presentation.
Peanut butter and Jelly cookies, with raspberry, straw berry, blueberry, and huckleberry fillings, they didn't last an hour.
Look at them there in the sunlight, absorbing all the goodness!
And food from the week of birthday, Double 1/3 lb Hoagieville buger with bacon, cheese, and mushrooms. *drools* this thing was as big as my head!

Melon and Wildberry Gelato from Caffe Dolce. So num!
Bacon, turkey, egg, cheese, chopped up left over chicken gordita, and bacon.. with some bacon. All cooked together in the oven until it turned tasty.
Dim Sum night awhile back had this little beauty, Creamy mushroom soup with green onion. Everyone loved it and my neighbors went home with 1/2 a gallon.
There you can see it in the back ground! *waves* Clockwise from midnight, broccoli feta pasta salad, pork juicy steambuns, tritip bacon cheese'burger' cups, and tritip 'sushi' on rice. All..so...tasty.
There's my food post, gosh I should do this more often.-GGG
